David Valner is a Czech glass artist from Olomouc-based Valner Studio who sees working with glass as an exceptionally delicate craft requiring patience, experience, and a deep understanding of the material. Glass has fascinated him since childhood and gradually became his main creative path. In his work, he builds on the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking while pushing it forward in a modern and highly personal direction. He combines honest handcraft with an artistic approach and a strong focus on distinctive aesthetics. His creations are characterized by clean forms, subtle details, and thoughtful design. He often draws inspiration from the environment where he grew up, as well as from the cultural heritage of traditional glassmaking regions. He believes true value is created slowly—through time, concentration, and craftsmanship. The result is a collection of original author-made objects with character and emotion.
